In 2023 I got obsessed with New York cookies - the chunky, doughy kind from corner bakeries. I went looking for one in Hull. Couldn't find it. Anywhere.
So I've spent the years since refining a recipe. Cold-rested dough and salt on top. Nothing clever. Just the one I wanted to eat.
